creates sweet culinary treats the old fashioned-way. As soon as you see
(and taste!) their uniquely creative cupcake flavors, generous portions
and top-quality preparation process, it's clear that you're dealing
with a bake shop that's doing things the right way.
One
Pica sought to make the experience of Crumbs.com as enjoyable as
visiting your local Crumbs shop. The site features a drag-and-drop UI
so you can choose your own custom six-pack of cupcakes, just as if you
were telling the baker which ones to put in your bag. The site's
back-end handles packaging and delivery logistics, and provides a
robust content management system so the online inventory stays as fresh
as the real bake shop's.
Advertising
is a global leader in supplying data centers and IT professionals with
advanced storage media products and services. However, brand and user
loyalty has been slight, which is a crucial area for improvement in an
industry that fights for pennies.
revamped Fujifilm's benefits program for both End-Users and Resellers,
called Tape Power. Pushing loyalty further, we integrated internal
inventory and sales systems to allow consistent marketing content to be
delivered: from Fujifilm leadership, down to resellers, and right on to
end users. The result is a seamless experience that gives each sales
unit a renewed infrastructure to grow revenues and win over new
customers.
IT Solutions
history of providing brilliant lighting design for architecture and
outdoor environments is well documented. Through noteworthy
implementations all over the world, their talented team has shown an
equal eye for creativity and functionality. One Pica sought to create a
brand, strategy, and online experience that mirrored Lam's innovation
and commitment to process.
The site challenges
users to think differently about the firm through a stylized interface
that pushes usability expectations. While admiring the achievement of
the Lam team, the site invites users to imagine what's possible on
their own project with Lam's approach to sustainability through
imagination and execution.
Marketing Communication
is a new name for a brand that creates premium sports apparel and
headwear for MLB, the NBA, the NHL and 450 colleges. Walk into nearly
any sporting goods or college bookstore and you'll likely find '47
merchandise: unmatched in terms of design, fit and finish.
The
'47 brand combines two distinct divisions (headwear and apparel) under
one unified label. One Pica helped solidify that new brand by
accentuating the quality of '47 merchandise, and by presenting a
resonant experience with '47's physical stores. At the site, fans can
find products and teams that they want, and in the coming months,
they'll be able to purchase their new favorite hat or shirt through an
integrated e-commerce interface.
Users need more than just the latest features, they want usability that speaks directly to them on both a need and want basis.
CardScan
(a Newell Rubbermaid brand) produces an integrated set of contact
management solutions. CardScan's @YourService, a free online contact
repository service, is at the center, tying together each of these
different offerings. The service's interface however, needed
improvements in usability and style to match the evolving CardScan
brand.
One Pica provided design, development
and usability analysis for a new interface, leading to invigorated user
interest and engagement in the already-loyal base of @YourService
subscribers. After rollout, the CardScan solution set was marketed
heavily, including a national television commercial campaign.

is a nationally-acclaimed architecture and planning firm. Their
practice and reputation have grown in scope and prestige over the past
40 years, and thus had outgrown their prior online identity. Seeking a
new way to market the firm to potential clients, Ellenzweig and One
Pica put a plan for renewal in motion.
With a
customized content management system, Ellenzweig.com presents a
cohesive user experience that dynamically engages at both ends of the
system: easy-to-use controls for internal staff and easy-to-access
portfolio information for visitors. A revitalized look at the firm from
the outside and from within helps keep the perception of Ellenzweig at
the top of their industry.
A new media platform deserves an equally innovative presentation.
Backchannelmedia
brings together TV and the Internet to create a powerful platform that
does more than entertain - it lets users interact. A person's remote
control matched with the Backchannelmedia platform means information,
entertainment and shopping are available on the viewer's term and on
their schedule.
One Pica accompanied BCM during
their transition from an advertising and media company to a
product-centered business. One Pica strategized with BCM leadership to
enhance the company's front-facing touch points including their brand,
public website, end user interface, research application, and
electronic collateral.
A global software leader has an identity crisis - thanks to their own wildly successful products.
Newmarket International
makes the best management software in the hospitality industry. The
software is so good that it has traditionally gotten more name
recognition (maybe you've heard of Delphi) than the company itself. One
Pica helped articulate a clear position for the Newmarket brand, then
redesigned the entire Newmarket identity.
The new identity ties all of the company's products together under
the main Newmarket umbrella, bringing the company name to the forefront
of the brand.

Transaction Resources, Inc.
is a payment processing company, valued as a top vendor by all of their
customers. Their recipe for success is simple: great service,
affordable rates and the latest in innovation. The only problem was
that their branding suggested anything but innovation; it was out of
date and clunky. One Pica modernized and streamlined TRI's identity,
from logo to website to marketing materials.
TRI's updated look and feel highlights the pillars of their brand,
presenting a face to current and potential customers that inspires
confidence and credibility. Pushing our work with TRI even further, One
Pica has developed e-mail marketing campaigns and lead-generation
techniques that fit in with TRI's sales strategies.

principle, One Pica brought consistency to AI's brand across many
different applications. We created the standards that guide the
company's website, product packaging and trade show materials – from
its beginnings with a single product to an expanding suite that now
consists of five different pieces and a new sub-brand.
One Pica continues to shape the experience that American Innovative
delivers to their customers by overseeing packaging design, brand
